Believe in Our Dreams

My new book, "Lottery Winner to Kona Finisher", is available through Amazon as both a paperback and an eBook.  I was surprised to see it take on its own inspirational story as I wrote. I was concerned it would arguably be a blog entry that I forced into a book, without much emotion or motivational power; I was wrong.

A few years ago I was the lucky winner of a coveted lottery entry to Kona, the Ironman World Championships, which became an experience of my lifetime.  I had to convince myself that I was worthy to swim, bike and run with the most accomplished triathletes in the world.  My humble, lottery winner's experience was unique and eventually proved that seemingly impossible dreams can come true.

"Lottery Winner to Kona Finisher" has a motivational theme of encouragement to believe in our dreams and put ourselves in a position to give them a chance to come true.  If we humble ourselves enough, opportunities arise and unimaginable growth can transpire.  Our weaknesses are nurtured into strengths as we struggle along the journey and our lives can be changed forever.  Give it a read!

Don't Surrender to February Excuses

It’s one month after the New Year, when we begin to question our ability to achieve our newly set goals. This is when our true challenge begins and we need to fight through the inconvenience of change. Goals require our minds to broaden the realm of what is possible. Don’t fall victim to February's excuses, instead, take each day one at a time and learn to be your biggest cheerleader, rather than an enormous obstacle.

If you need some external motivation to help you believe you can achieve your newly set goals, read my book about how I found the courage to believe in my potential, rather than empower unsubstantiated fears.  (Living Without Limits - through Amazon)

I made it across this finish line at Snowbird after I learned to believe in myself, which made things like this possible.
