It is "officially" spring, although life at the cabin continues to be surrounded by winter. The warm temperatures are urging me to get on my bicycle, but this will not come easily until the cabin roads are free from snow, allowing the gates to be unlocked. This month is when we are happy our cabin is only 1/2 mile from the locked gates. I could feasibly haul my light weight bike through the slush for that 1/2 mile, although I would be a humorous site in cycling shorts and my snow/hiking boots, ha ha. I am ready for it to tangibly be spring, not just because of the calendar date. Quit snowing already!

I Published Another Book: World's Toughest Ironman
It took longer than expected to finish my third book, World's Toughest Ironman, which includes some chapters shared from my mom's perspective. I write about how determination, belief, perseverance and faith helped me face an
unanticipated challenge and decide to fight a crippling fear and some perceived limits, which
were staring me square in the face. I
could have easily avoided the internal terror and potential danger by safely
floating to shore.
This experience also happened to involve my mother’s worst nightmare, which she shares from quite a different perspective.
World's Toughest Ironman (click to link) is available through amazon.com as an eBook and paperback, or in Kindle Unlimited. I am happy to get you signed paperbacks, if you prefer, just leave a comment or let me know.
