Springtime Build Status

If this past winter was mild, then this spring is making up for it.  We've had both snow and rain on our beautiful property and house, but at least the roof is keeping the wetness out.

We passed our four-point inspection, which we learned was a big deal, so we've progressed forward to insulating and hanging drywall.  Our contractor, Scott, appears to be able to continue living his life away from building our house, as he is headed to Hawaii tomorrow for a ten day vacation. He is happy we are ready for the drywall, as this takes many days.  It will be strange to not be able to see through the walls from one end of the house to the other.

Question to Scott: when should we be prepared to move into the house?
Answer:  Late July, early August...
Our Thoughts:  We hope he is being cautious with that answer, as it seems there isn't that much left to be done.  We are getting tired of living behind a locked gate, although it is much better now that we can drive to our cabin!!!

How spring at the cabin felt this year...
