Another snowstorm at the cabin encouraged Kai and I to head out for an adventure. We were sure we would have first tracks and things looked good....
...until we saw the rabbit tracks and realized we were not quite first on the trail.
We continued to the summit of our hike and enjoyed our small accomplishment, until the wind was too cold and...
... Kai was sure she heard something scary in the trees.
I finally agreed to take her away from the scary summit and we scampered together to the trail. She happily meandered along and enjoyed chomping on a few downed branches. Labradors find such amazing pleasure in simple things.
We made it safely back from our adventure and there was an abundance of thank you's for such a great time! We sure do love being in the mountains together!!
