First Snow at the Cabin

Today I woke up to what used to be only a dream for me, a cozy cabin in the mountains, with snow accumulating all around.  The smile hasn't left my face since the morning porch light revealed my winter surprise.  I love it up here!

Kai and Sparkle went crazy when they saw what Mother Nature had given them.... the white stuff that releases deep seeded energy in even the eldest of Labradors; they ran, rolled, body bumped and, most importantly, wagged voraciously.  I have always enjoyed that snow creates puppy-ness in them because it provides companionship for the child that snow awakens within me.  Bring on Winter 2015/2016!!!
